Solved: First time filing married

Since we are filing jointly not separate, do we both need to login into our separate Turbo Tax accounts and file separately, but choose "jointly"? In other words, do we both pay the Deluxe plan fee? Or are we just supposed to fill this out once and add all our information in here just once? We are confused how this works? We do not want to duplicate this process if not needed. Thanks!

@Martimus04 TurboTax accounts cannot be combined or merged. Your first mistake was using a different account for 2021---you should have stayed with the account you used for the 2020 return so that you could have transferred the tax file. But since you did not do that, you need to look at the 2020 account and find your 2020 AGI on line 11 of the joint return you prepared last year.

Going forward--do not keep switching accounts. Stick with one of them and do not try to change the order of the names on a joint return. It confuses the IRS and can cause delays.
