Filing out a w4 for a new job. I am working as needed so do not have set hours. I will make less than half of my husband. Am I correct in not putting anything on my w4?

I used the table to come up with the answer for 4c but does only my husband enter that info? And does that mean no taxes will come out of my paychecks and just my husbands?

If you are asked for a W-4 then you are a W-2 employee and you want the correct withholding.

Follow the instructions on Form W-4 by selecting your filing status.

There should be no reason to put any amount on 4c unless you have other income besides wages.

@felicia_grunewal  Line 4c can go on either spouse's W-4. it is not limited to the higher earning spouse.  Look at the instructions again CLOSELY.
