Hello -
I have two old tax years (2018, 2019) that I had tried to file at the time they were due but both were rejected. One, 2018?, was rejected due to my ex-wife claiming my son on her taxes (she lives out of state and has no right to do this (according to Federal Tax law). So I have documentation that my son was with me 10 months of the year.
Both tax returns are way over-due to be filed. How do I go about that now without having to mail literally 100 pages per tax year. My taxes are not overly complex and I have paid to file one of those two years.
How do I go about filing these two tax years for Federal and State?
Thanks!

The 2018 and 2019 tax returns can only be printed, signed, dated and mailed to the IRS, they cannot be e-filed using the TurboTax personal editions.
You only include the federal tax return Form 1040 and any associated forms and/or schedules which have an Attachment Sequence Number located in the upper right corner of the form and/or schedule. You do NOT include any worksheets or informational pages with the filed tax return.
Unless you had an extension for your 2018 return, it is now too late for you to receive a tax refund for 2018 even if one is shown on the tax form. That return should have been mailed before the April 2022 filing deadline in order to receive a refund for a 2018 return. Get the 2019 return filed so that you are not too late for that one.
