I can get one free state return, but how do I file a second one? Will it ask me to pay at the end?

Yes, the program will ask for payment or you can print and mail the second state return.

Using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions of either Deluxe, Premier or Home & Business you get one free state program download included in the purchase price.  This does not include a free state e-file.

The state e-file charge is currently $25 for each state tax return e-filed.  You can avoid this charge by printing and mailing the state tax return.
