Filing 1098-T and tax credits

I am 19 and I pay entirely for my college (and college living) expenses, but my parents are still claiming me as a dependent. Who should file the 1098-T?

If your parents claim you as a dependent, they must claim any education credit.

Yes, they claim any eligible tuition as if they paid for it. A dependent can't claim the credit.

I already filed my taxes according to what I keep reading I was supposed to file form 8812 I believe for the additional child tax credit of $1700- $2000 back In my pocket
