Filed 2020 taxes before law change

I am receiving a refund for taxes paid on unemployment in 2020 due to the law change because I filed before the new law went into effect.  Will my 2020 tax and income values be automatically updated in Turbo Tax when I complete my 2021 taxes?  Usually the values are automatically imported in Turbo Tax from the previous year.

Hello, Yes!  Your TurboTax account will reflect the updated 2020 forms and values according to the updated IRS forms for the changes made as part of the American Rescue Plan.

You will note your unemployment exclusion on your 2020 Schedule 1 line 8.

Won't be long before it's time to prepare your 2021 tax return!
