Federal Tax Filing Deadline

While TurboTax will not calculate out a penalty to file before June 15th for those who had the filing deadline extended due to the snowstorms, TurboTax cannot (with all of the other law changes) postpone a payment past May 17th.  However, you can set up the payment directly with the IRS without penalty at the following website:  Direct Pay | Internal Revenue Service

So TTX is basically useless for Texas this year. Our filing date AND our payment date is June 15. Seems like if the the IRS made the change in February, 4 months would be enough time to correct your software.
