Federal Tax due Extension in Disaster Areas

Hello, I filed my Federal and State taxes about a week ago, but for the state, TT asked me if I was in a County that was declared a disaster area, and I am and checked that box.  TT asked me when I wanted to pay my State taxes, and I chose the date October 16, the deadline.  The other day, the amount due on my State taxes was taken from my checking account, causing a bunch of overdrafts.  Can someone from TT tell me why this happened when it wasn't supposed to come out of my checking until October 16?

TurboTax only transmits the information. The state should not have drafted until the date chosen.
