Federal file by mail can't initial printing forms, and e-file state won't start. programme keeps me looping at getting id info and back to filing questions. stuck.

Federal file by mail can't initial printing forms, and e-file state won't start. programme keeps me looping at getting id info and back to filing questions. stuck.

A State Return can only be E-Filed if you also choose the E-File the Federal.

You can e-file the Federal and mail in the State but not the other way around. This could be the reason why the system continues to request this information.
