Fed Tax Summary Greyed Out (Mac Turbotax Premier Desktop 2024)

When using Mac Turbotax Premier Desktop 2024 on a 2019 iMac...

If I start a new tax return before I add the CA state, the FED Tax Summary looks correct. BUT, if I then add the CA state to this return and click on the Tax Summary, the FED tax summary becomes greyed out but the CA State tax summary looks OK (not greyed out).

This happens before I even enter any information on the return. Repeatable.

How do I submit this as a TurboTax BUG to Intuit?

I removed the CA State from the return and now the Fed Tax Summary is no longer greyed out.

I then added CA State back to the return and problem repeats...Fed tax Summary becomes greyed out AGAIN.

I'm seeing the same thing with Virginia - Federal is grayed out.

If you access the Tax Summary from the left side list of forms, instead of from the top menu bar allows you to view the Federal Tax Summary correctly.

Thanks, I saw that workaround in another post but curiously, Tax Summary is only listed in the forms list for Federal.  There is no Tax Summary listed in the CA State forms list. Of course we can click on the main Tax Summary in the top of the EsyStep menu and see the State Tax Summary (where Fed is greyed out).

But I really wanted to find out how to submit this to Intuit as a software bug. Is there a way to do this?
