Hi, Hank, TurboTax has a section where you can enter estimated tax payments made during the year as well as payments made with an extension.
In TurboTax, you will want to navigate to Deductions and Credits. From there, scroll down until you see the section that says "Estimates and Other Taxes Paid" and click to expand that section. You will then be able to enter any federal, state, or local estimated tax payments made by clicking on the Start next to the "Estimated Tax Payments" option.
If you filed an extension and need to enter the amount paid with the extension request, you will want to stay in Deductions and Credits, under Estimates and Other Taxes Paid, but then click to start the section called "Income Taxes Paid", and you will then be able to enter amounts paid with any extension requests.
Hope that helps you find the sections needed to make sure all your payments are included on your tax return!
Here's a quick way to get to many topics:
Here's how to get to the section by menu in TurboTax Live:
From there you will enter the date you made the payment (use the closest match from the menu, then change the actual date) and the amount. This will then show up on your 1040 on line 26 under estimated payments.
