Here's a quick way to get to many topics:
- Click on the magnifying glass on your TurboTax screen and type in "Estimated Payments".
- Once you do that, you should get a list of items, the top one should be "Jump To". Click on Jump To and TurboTax will take you to that section of your tax return.
Here's how to get to the section by menu in TurboTax Live:
- Deductions & credits
- Estimates and Other Taxes Paid
- Estimated Tax Payments
From there you will enter the date you made the payment (use the closest match from the menu, then change the actual date) and the amount. This will then show up on your 1040 on line 26 under estimated payments.
