System is not letting me enter "Update" estimated tax payments for 2019. A blue raindrop shows up but does not allow entering numeric values ie: 500.00

1) Can you not get into that section at all ?
2) Or Do you see the 4 fields to make entries, but see a "$0" in one or more of the estimate fields that you cannot change ? (not just a simple "$" )
I could not enter numeric data but I was in the field. I also was not allowed to change dates. I found a community note from October last year that advised to change turbotax shortcut launch icon to Administrator privileges which solved the problem.
I had same issue trying to input Property taxes for itemized deductions and still could not input those dollars. Because it was a small amount this year I ignored that problem and filed my taxes today.
Thanks
Sorry you filed, but yeah, probably not critical.
IF you have the problem in the future:
1) ...blank pages that doesn't move on, is usually Administrative privileges setting in you Properties shortcut.
2) The failure for a value to take, when a $0 is showing, usually means there is a "Supporting Details" sheet attached to that field, that transferred in from the prior year. Simply double-clicking on the $0 usually opens the Supporting Details sheet for you to enter your value (or delete the sheet if you don't want to use it). Or there are two other ways to open it up to make an entry if the double-click doesn't seem to work.
I cannot update estimated tax payments. A blue bubble appears under the line I need to enter, but figures do not appear. Tried numerous times.
Please DEFINE you system where you see this !
1) Online software ? OR Desktop/download software installed on you computer?
________________
Only if using Desktop/Download software.
2) ...is it on a MAC ? or on a Windows system?
3) Does the line you are attempting to put an amount in, show a "$0" or just a simple "$" ?
I double clicked on the line I needed to enter the data, and it worked fine.
The magic double-click.
That can show up in other areas too, where a Supporting Details sheet is attached to the field.
