Using Turbotax 2025 Premier
I've been attempting to transmit my return for the past few hours and am getting the following error:
"We're experiencing Internet transmission problems. Your transmission didn't go through. Intuit's Electronic Filing Center did not receive your return(s)."
Problem is not with my internet connection since I can leave this message on your site. All my other apps work fine. Running Win11. Turbotax has been updated to latest available download.
How can I fix this and transmit my return?
You'll need to sign in or create an account to connect with an expert.
I would like to take a deeper look at this. However, I need a diagnostic file which is a copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed. You can send one to us by following the directions below:

I have sent the copy as instructed. How do I provide the token number, by posting it here?
Yes, please.

Thank you, CatinaT1
Thank you, @neilfj We will post here once there is an update.
The team has identified that you are getting that message because a state form is required and was not included in your return and they are still looking into it.
You can try to file the federal only for now and file your state later.
The state program was downloaded and after answering a question or two it stated that filing the NH return is not required and that NH does not support e-filing for a business form (I think it was the TB form or something like that). NH does not have any income taxes other than business and certain interest/dividends which does not apply in my situation.
In any case, I was attempting to file the federal return only and was not filing a NH return.
What I will do in a couple of hours is start a new return and skip the NH return entirely and see if that works.
(I had only done the NH return to make sure there was nothing that would trigger filing the state return, so I can skip it completely).
Great, let me know what happens when you skip NH all together.
CatinaT1;
I started over and created a new return. Although the NH State program had been previously downloaded, I skipped the entry of any information and was successful in transmitting the return.
That is great news! Did you get an acknowledgement back from the state yet?
No, because the State return was not transmitted. Perhaps I wasn't clear in the beginning as I wasn't aware that running the NH State download would interfere with transmitting my Federal return.
NH has no income tax and only requires filing a return under certain conditions. These conditions include interest or dividends, investment gains above a certain threshold, or if you have a business income. I met none of these conditions, however I usually run the State software to make sure that none of these thresholds are exceeded that would require me to file a State return. In the past, doing this has never caused a problem as I only e-filed the Federal return. This year however seems to have interfered with the ability to e-file the Federal return.
FYI, I just received confirmation that the IRS has accepted my return.
Great news. Sorry, I forgot you told me you didn't need to file state. Thank you!
