Error Message TT Premier 2023

I'm entering my data manually.
After every "enter" keystroke, I get this error message. Then "OK" makes it goes away. Please fix

You are in the section to import the W-2 and the import function is not yet available.

Go back to Federal Taxes>Wages & Income>Wages and Salaries click on Update

When asked for the Employer EIN, leave blank and just click on Continue

On the next screen click on Type it in myself

You would think Intuit's error message would simply say "you are in Import mode - to enter manually, go to manual input"

Instead, they give us a screen full of gobbledegook.
