Electronic Filing and FEES!!!

Why, if Turbo Tax figures my Fit and state refunds total 3057, are they now telling me, after all their fees, I will get only 2254 back?  This seems extortionate.  I will carefully review my choice in tax preparation for next year.

Upfront disclosure would be more honest.

You can check the fees that were charged to you by TurboTax by following these steps:

  • While in your Tax Home,
  • Scroll down to Tax Tools,
  • Select Tools,
  • Select My Fees.

If you haven't already filed your return, then follow these directions to remove any un-wanted charges:

You may want to review the details of your return (there could be something else wrong) while in TurboTax by following these steps:

  1. While in your Tax Home,
  2. Select Tax Tools,
  3. Select Tools,
  4. Select View Tax Summary.

Electronic Filing and FEES!!!

I have used Turbo Tax for many many years and have never "researched" the filing fees before I prepared my returns.  Their are no instructions on the packaging to advise you to do this.  Next year I will check out other products before purchasing Turbo Tax.  I think you are deceitful to put this at the very end with no prior disclosure.

Electronic Filing and FEES!!!

any extra fees listed are fees for services you chose to accept.
