I use Turbotax on my desktop. I usually fill out my own forms, rather than use their guided section (although it's all the same info at the end). One question that you must check a box for is accepting direct withdrawal, in case you have to pay tax. I always check the box for yes, I want to pay by direct withdrawal from my bank. However, if this answer is chosen, then an error is generated, and I can never finish the return. The only Fix is to uncheck the box. HOWEVER, either way, when I get to the end of the return, and choose to efile, it does accept that, and I am able to enter (or have transferred from last year), my bank account and routing information. The efile was done successfully, and the fact that the box saying direct withdrawal was unchecked, did not seem to matter. But it was confusing and upsetting, coming at the very beginning as it did. If I had known that it wouldn't matter, I wouldn't have worried over the error so much. Please fix this. They should match.
