Same! and I am using the Online version. NC forms not available yet and will not efile federal! UGH!
I was able to submit the Federal for my stepsons returns with no problem early last week. This week it will not accept my Federal for me and NC forms are still not available!
I get the same error for North Carolina State Taxes. I got a message saying the state forms were ready, completed the filing and tried to print the forms. The forms are not there to print. I paid to electronically file and would like to finish with the taxes.
That worked! WOOHOO! Now just have my NC taxes to file!
I still keep getting the same error message for over a week now that my 2021 tax return transmission is not available. I don’t think it’s fair that I have to pay to file my taxes with Turbo Tax when there is an issue on the end.

Are you also filing a North Carolina return along with the Federal tax return?
The North Carolina Individual Income Tax Return Form D-400 is not yet available for e-filing. It is estimated to be available on 02/24/2022
Go to this TurboTax website for North Carolina state forms availability - https://care-cdn.prodsupportsite.a.intuit.com/forms-availability/turbotax_nc_online_individual.html
If you want to e-file your federal tax return now then change how you file the NC state return. This assumes that all of the forms and schedules included in your federal tax return are available for e-filing.
If using the TurboTax online editions click on File on the left side of the online program screen. On Step 3 of the File section click on Start or Revisit. Select the button File by Mail. Then change the filing status of the state return.
After the federal return is e-filed and accepted by the IRS you can e-file the state return when it is available for e-filing. Just use the same procedure and change the state return back to e-filing.
From North Carolina
I filed my federal return it says it was accepted. I filed both together but it said documents where not yet available for state return.. I got an email saying they are not available But when I tried to e file my state return it claims that 2021 transmissions are not available. I also paid the $78. What's going on. Now my bf can't file his federal or state... was able to at first but an error occurred. Not happy with turbo tax this year!

I am getting the same message in NC. Needless to say.....I am very aggravated at this point.
It is 2/14 and this error persists. I am attempting to eFile Federal, PA, and NC. ...difficulty recognizing the data... not ready to process Tax Year 2021 for this return.... Very frustrating. I would appreciate a better update from a support rep than simply we are aware and working on it. It appears it has been resolved for some states but not others?

It's saying you could not e-file my return because my 2021 transmission are not available I'm confused 🤔😕🤔🤔 let me know I already paid for the service on your platform.
I have been attempting to submit my returns electronically with no luck. I bought the TurboTax Premium thru Amazon and I live in North Carolina. I have a free federal efile and I have already paid for the state efile.
