We are not eligible for a payment based on 2018 return. We ARE eligible based on 2019 return.
2019 return was filed and still being processed. Once processed, will the IRS automatically check the return and send a payment based on it?
Using the IRS 'Get my Payment' service isn't helpful. It only says our payment isnt available (or something). No IRS agents available to answer questions or notify of eligibility based on 2019.

What happens to people who are eligible based on their 2019 income but haven't filed yet due to tax form delays, and were not eligible based on their 2018 income (for example: people who lost their job in 2019)? Will they still get their economic impact check with a delay, or nothing at all?
I have a similar situation - I was not eligible based on my 2018 income level but was eligible based on my 2019 income level. I filed my taxes after the stimulus payments were sent and get the same message when trying to check the status of get my payments. Does anyone have an answer to how to get my stimulus amount?

I did nothing but wait, and eventually got our check.
For the irs status check site, I read one ‘trick’ is to use ALL CAPS when entering your info. I did that and it worked. Weird.
