How do i upgrade from my 2017 tax to 2018 to file my return i have the program on my pc

Each tax year is a separate TurboTax program. You cannot upgrade the 2017 software for tax year 2018.

Go to this TurboTax website to purchase a CD or Download of the 2018 desktop editions - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/
