It's November 6, 2023 and Turbotax (Desktop version on a Mac) does not allow me to e-file my return. The deadline has been extended to November 16, 2023, so I hope this is just a temporary bug.
I've seen similar problems from users last year (2022). Did anybody experience this as well? Did Turbotax address this issue?

I should add that I live in a county in California where the tax filing deadlines (both Federal and State) were extended due to natural disasters earlier this year. The deadline was first extended to October 16, 2023 and then again to November 16, 2023.
Efile with TurboTax ended on October 16. You now have to print and mail your return. It needs to be postmarked by the Nov. 16 deadline.
When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s. Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS/state received the return.
Federal and state returns must be in separate envelopes and they are mailed to different addresses. Read the mailing instructions that print with your tax return carefully so you mail them to the right addresses.
