E-Filing error - Failed Validation

When I attempt to e-file my federal and state returns - i get this error message. I have checked for updates - and it says software is current.  I've turned off norton/vpn/virus - no change.     I have run SmartCheck - and everything is good.       If you cant efile - turbotax is kind of useless.

Try a Manual Update.  It must be due to some security/connection issue in your particular configuration.  There have been many OS/browser security updates this year.

Try Clicking the icon in front of the URL on a browser window, open the Settings, and choose 'Allow' for the LAN setting.

Here's how to Contact TurboTax Support.

Try uninstalling/re-installing TurboTax.  Your tax data files will be saved, the default location is Documents > TurboTax.  Sometimes files can become corrupted in the download process.

Sign In to your Intuit account and go to Products/Downloads to download the program again.

Here's more info on Uninstalling TurboTax.
