State file incomplete

My state tax return is showing incomplete. Please let me know what might be the reason.

State file incomplete

E-filing a state is only allowed once a federal return is accepted/rejected. State returns will show incomplete until federal has been accepted. The IRS will not begin accepting tax returns until Monday 1/23/17.
