E-filing 1040-X amended returns?

Although TurboTax's website states that it is now possible to e-file amended 1040-X returns for 2019 (https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/amending/help/how-do-i-amend-my-turbotax-online-return/00/27577), there is no option to do so upon following the instructions. Instead, when I complete my amendments in the desktop software, it says "Way to go! You've now finished amending your return. Just be sure to mail it in." Can anyone clarify how to proceed if I am missing something?

Edit: I understand now from your responses that the IRS has closed all e-filing until 2021. Thanks, this has been resolved.

The IRS has shut down the entire e-file system to prepare for 2020 tax returns. There will be no more e-filing of anything until the IRS reopens e-filing in late January. They have not yet announced the date when it will reopen.

E-filing is closed for any kind of return right now. E-filing will re-open when the IRS opens up e-filing sometime in January. So your choice is to mail it now, or wait.
