What is the message in the review section?
If you e-filed the federal first separately you cannot efile the state return until the Federal return has been accepted.
Your state return might have a form that is not yet available for e-filing.
This response is almost as ambiguous as the the pop up message in turbo tax. What does this mean: "Your state return might have a form that is not yet available for e-filing". Where will that supposed form come from? Will it be coming from Turbo Tax?
There are some forms that cannot be efiled. Some are per IRS or state taxing authority rules, in which they require manual processing. Does the software tell you the specific form number that is causing this scenario for you?
Have you ever heard of the New York form IT-2 not being able to be e-filed? This is what customer service told me, but it is not a new form so does not make sense and it is required to be included in my state return.
No. TT simply states "Your Georgia S-Corp return(s) is currently unavailable to view, print, or download because some of the forms haven't been finalized yet." I looked on the Georgia DOR site and cannot find anything.
TT also stated for the same Georgia return, that I've requested to e-file more than 3 returns, maximum allowed… So which is it? The forms not ready or max e-file request (however I've not requested to e-file more than 3 returns.
Turbo Tax Online will only allow you to e-file one return per account.
