e-file first time 2025.

We have always filed joint by mail.  This year (2025) we want to e-file using Turbo Tax Desktop.  It asks for a 5 digit number.  What number do I use?  Can we create our own self select pins this year or do we both need to use last years AGI?

You can create your own self-selected 5 digit e-file PIN.  You will also have to enter the 2024 AGI from the 2024 federal tax return you filed, Form 1040 Line 11.  The 2024 AGI is the same for the both of you if you filed the 2024 tax return as Married Filing Jointly.
