During download of Deluxe 2024 I was not asked for license key. Where is that input

I purchased at Sams Club and downloaded from web,but there was not activation code screen. System went directly into gathering my data

Please see this help article for instructions to find your license code for TurboTax Desktop depending on how you purchased it.

Your license code should be included in your order confirmation email if purchased on a retailer's website, or within the package if purchased in-store. Check your email or your order history. The email might have gone to a junk or spam folder.

How do I get the activatin code, I have a license code but was not prompted for it .... went through entire tax prep and when tried to submit, TT asked me to purchase the product again ...

You purchased the 2024 TurboTax desktop software to be installed on your personal computer.  But you actually accessed the TurboTax online editions instead.  The online editions do not require a license code and are separate from the desktop editions, with different features and price points.
