Drastically Different Refund

Using two different free online tax prep services, my federal refund was $307. Then TurboTax calculated a refund of $1,505. Same data used with all three. This is an extreme difference. I’m hesitant to file with TurboTax and possibly get slammed with owing the IRS a refund and/or a penalty.

You would have to compare line by line to see what is causing the difference.
