Downloading 1099 Data from Fidelity and Pershing.

I cannot get the download of 1099s from Fidelity or Pershing to work.  I get "internal Server error" every single time from both of them.  My telephone support person, JAMES CHRISTOPHER H. was useless.  Sent me here when he could not help solve the problem.  My case number is [phone number removed].  Which he closed as solved even thought it was not solved.  Anyone here know the answer?

Or...try again on Friday (24th) there are some software updates that "might" help, but no one knows for sure until they are implemented.

Online software is updated automatically...

Desktop/download software updates have to by initiated by the user.

Not the correct answer.  Not a browser issue.  I am using the Desktop version.  Should work fine as I have been using Turbotax to download from Fidelity for over 20 years.   Lets try again.

@Techreseller

ALL we've got here are rumor hacks presented by various posts, with no definite working procedure.  One person who contacted Customer Support was told that the software "fix" has been delayed for yet another week.  I certainly had no issues downloading my data from Fidelity (Windows 10, TTX Premier desktop, Edge as default browser)

The Browser situation was being presented, because even with the desktop version, at least one of the sign-in windows during the import process, uses your default browser.  But the default browser situation may have been just an anecdotal rumor.

________

Right now, in order to import the Fidelity data from the desktop/download software, you must first be logged into a TTX account within the Desktop software itself (maybe that's what they are trying to remove in the software...or not)

Instead of trying to log into TTX during the import process, you can log into yoru TTX account by going up to the "File" menu item (in Windows...don't know about a MAC), and towards the bottom of the "File" pull-down menu is a place to log into your TTX account.  Then go to the area where you attempt to import your Fidelity data...That 'might" smooth the Fidelity import process...but don't really know.   Like I said...just a possible workaround hack.
