Downloaded turbotax premier 2022 CD product to my desktop. Need to download to laptop (traveling) but it does not show up in my library? How to get the extra downloads???

Turns out if you use the CD for a download, you can only use the CD to download. Can't use the license alone to download.  Next year, will do it different since laptop doesn't have a CD drive.

You can call in and ask for the download and a new License Code.  I buy the CD but the last couple years used the download method instead.    It has more advantages over CD.  Then you can also download it another computer. Once you install the CD you can't install it again like if you need to reinstall the program or install on a different computer unless it's the other OS like Mac.  

There should be a card in the CD case on on the CD envelope that says how to download it and you will need the 14 or 16 digit code from it to enter.
