I'd like to have excel format for 1099-int, i1099-div, the format you used last year

I'm not sure anyone has liked the new interview format for 1099-DIV/INT/B entries this year. The format that was previously used for years was great--simple, easy, and straightforward.
It seems Turbotax changes every year for worse and not for better. How can we change back to old format?

it's a disaster of a design and made worse by the sloppy bugs.
I was able to use forms mode for 1099-INT/DIV to get everything in but be aware I went back thru the EasyStep to review the 1099s a lot were in 'yellow' and it seems Forms mode does not properly set up those checkboxes for adjustments, US Gov Interest etc after you input the 1099 (not sure where this gets stored if not on the 1099 worksheet in Forms), even if you have values; but cleaning that up was easy to go through - just tedious because of the navigation bug sending you back to the top when you edit a 1099 and having to scroll back down.
Forms mode has some grids with the totals which are actually pretty helpful and you can double click in the Schedule B to quickly create new 1099s.
For 1099-B it's a bit more fiddly in forms mode so I went back thru EasyStep to set those up and do the input, but used Forms mode for some edits (seems when you create a 1099-B you can't actually edit the name in the EasyStep).
P.S. only use Forms mode if you're very familiar with all the additional adjustments or supplemental info input you need to make on 1099s for your situation, otherwise grind thru the bad navigation and stick to EasyStep interview questions to make sure nothing gets missed.
As a retired IT professional, I agree 100% with this and other users. The new 1099-DIV/INT/B format is significantly slowing me down versus the past. I'd be happy to speak with the software developers and tell them why it is such a poor design.
I absolutely agree with the poor design of the download INT/DIV interface. I imported this year’s major portfolio accounts which apparently had slightly different addresses than the 2023 so I ended up with duplicate accounts. The 2023 tax accounts displayed $0.00 and TT wasn’t able to pick up the individual account numbers to ask which was current. Trying to delete the unneeded accounts on the INT/DIV page didn’t work. Fortunately when I got to the review screen I was able to delete the old accounts. Finally, I had to opt out using Easy Step and move over to the pick and choose method which mirrors the old design.
I agree! It shows duplicate accounts on the page and I can't delete them, even though there's a garbage can icon....frustrating!
