Does the Deluxe app version INCLUDE one state return? The laptop version I use does. I am not paying an additional $40 just to use my iPad. I’ll continue to use my laptop.

The Deluxe desktop CD/Download edition can be installed on any Windows or Mac personal computer that meets the system requirements.  The one free state program download is included with the Deluxe desktop edition whether it is installed on a desktop or laptop computer, but not on a mobile device, when purchased from TurboTax.

The online web browser versions and mobile app are total separate from the Desktop CD/Download program.  That are not the same and are priced differently.

So if you are doing more than 1 return you have to use 2 accounts and pay all the fees again in each account.

As you know the Desktop program can do unlimited returns and efile 5 for free.  And Deluxe and above come with 1 free state program download.  Hmm, I thought you said you were doing 2 returns?

If you have used the Desktop program before you may not like the online version.  You can not switch to Forms Mode and several other differences.
