Does it matter if I select Single or Divorced-divorced 18 years. Single was selected when got to this question. Don't know if that was my choice last year.

I don't know if Single was "selected" on the list just because it is first on the list.

Divorced is not a filing status. If you have not remarried then you filing status is Single.
