Getting nowhere. I've updated my Mac OD and Turbo Tax but it keeps rejecting the file. Message is "too large" but I find that difficult to believe. Thank you for any feedback you might have.

What file from the CPA do you have? You need an electronic pdf copy. Not one you scanned. Have you seen this FAQ? How to transfer into Mac Desktop
You can only transfer from a TurboTax data file. CPA's use professional software that TurboTax cannot read. and a transfer form a PDF file only transfers simple things like name and address - no forms.
Thank you for your reply. If Turbotax has trouble reading my 1099's I'm going to consider Turbo Tax "sunk costs."
Thank you but yes it was a PDF and not a scanned copy. I'll check your link but I think I've been down that road. Turbotax is truely lame if it can't read a PDF, I fear it won't handle the upload of my 1099s which will make it a total waste of money.
It isn't a 1049SR by any chance? Turbo Tax doesn't transfer a 1040SR pdf.
For 1099s those are imported directly from the financial company or bank. It's not a pdf.
Thank you for that. Of course, it would be downloaded, in my case, from Schwab and TDA.
Update to my 1st experience with Turbo Tax. It handled my 1099 downloads just fine and my overall experience with TurboTax has been excellent ! I was skeptical at first. I even got some help from a support person who patiently got me through some foreign tax credits and carry-forward issues. I recommend TurboTax.
