Does anyone know how to only transmit the State Tax Return?

I had to submit my federal return separately and want the convenience of submitting my State return electronically. Obviously if I transmit my Federal return again that will cause problems. How do I send only the State return and not the Federal?

since you haven't efile the federal, you can't efile the state

Sorry but you cannot. e-file your state return unless you e-filed your federal return and it was accepted.    You say you already filed your federal tax return--if you did that by mailing the federal you cannot e-file your state return.   You will need to print, sign and mail your state return as well.
