Do you count a college enrolled dependent as staying with you the whole year/number-of-months when they live on campus housing or an apartment when class is in session?

In our case, our dependent lived at home and considered our home their home base for the year, but when class was in session they lived on campus housing for some of the time, or an apartment near the university for some of the time. The rest of the year they were at home.

The time spent away for education is considered living in the home.  Select the Whole Year for the period of time the dependent lived with you.
