Do i have to pick up my w2s from ex employeror do they have to mail them to me by law?

Your employer should mail them to you provided they have your current mailing address.  Or they will provide you a website where you can download and print the W-2.

i did not officially quit. i just walked out . do they still have to mail me w2s.

They have to provide you with your W-2 by the end of January.  Make sure they have a current address for you so it can be mailed to you.

If they have your correct mailing address they are required to mail them to you by 1/31  or let you know how to get them online if they provide that option.
