Yes, TurboTax does provide a platform to file two different years.

You would start with the older tax return.

• You will log into File TurboTax for previous years.
• You can create an account, 
  • This will provide the software program to prepare your return yourself.
• Or select Hand off my taxes.
  • This will provide a professional tax preparer to do your return for you.
• When you've completed your older taxes, you can repeat the process and complete your current taxes.

Yes, I do think TurboTax is worth it.  You have a complete set of filing options available to you.
