Direct Debit Date: TODAY, 4/15. Why isn't this working???

I'm done preparing this return, I've paid, and now I just need to enter a direct debit date. I've entered today as directed by the instructions: "If you transmit your return to the Intuit Electronic Filing Center on or after April 15, 2019, the requested payment date must be the day you transmit the return." I am transmitting this return ON April 15 and therefore I'm entering today, the 15th, as the direct debit date, but the system won't accept that. WHHYYY???
