Different 1099-MISC after business name change.

In May 2015 I changed my business name thus I have received 1099-MISC’s in both the old and new business name.  Do I create seperate business income and expenses in turbotax applicable to the months each company name is/was active?

Different 1099-MISC after business name change.

If the business activity was of the same type there is no need to complete two business schedules, however if the two business activities were different in nature then you should complete two business schedules for your return.

As long as all income received for the business activities is reported on the return and you have your records that's the most important thing.  This includes income whether or not it is reported to you on a Form 1099-MISC.
