Didn’t install successfully, still could give it to somebody else?

I bought the CD/download version, tried to install on my computer, but all my computers have older OS, the highest version they could be upgraded to still don’t meet the TurboTax OS requirement. I’ve downloaded on my computer used license code, but didn’t install successfully, is it still okay to give the product to someone else cuz I downloaded under my turboxtax account?
