Dependent

I filed my sister who is an adult as a dependent.  Come to find out she owed state unemployment and they intercepted my taxes most of my return coming from an underage dependent.  What can I file to retrieve what is owed to me?

That sounds very unlikely.    Refunds are not seized for debts owed by dependents.  If your refund was seized, it was for some other reason.  You will receive a letter of explanation a few weeks after the refund offset.
