Dependency status change

Hi, I filed my taxes this year as an Independent for the first time. I was rejected and learned that my father’s agent had accidentally put me down as a dependent even though he had requested no dependents. His return was accepted, and then he superseded his return and refilled, which was then accepted on the 14th of February. I have efiled since then, and keep getting rejected. What are my next steps? Thanks!

Mail your return.

You will have to print and mail your return even if they amended their return.  Once a ssn has been entered into the IRS you can't efile it again.

That second link says “ as long as you haven’t efiled, you can print and mail your return instead “

Yes?  You haven't efiled yet.  Your efile was not accepted.  That meant if you have efiled and it was sucessful.
