checking the box in Step 2 should be sufficient to get there.
The screen that contains step number 4 is entitled We noticed there's an issue with cost basis...Let us know if you'd like to make any changes. On that screen is the option I know my cost basis and need to make an adjustment.
And yes, make sure you check the box The cost basis is incorrect or missing on my 1099-B.

Hour on phone last week with TT support (extremely nice and professional) however no solution. Software is not working correctly. Checking box does not bring up next screen to enter cost basis.
Only suggestion was to change data by manually keying into 1099-B.
Not sure how this effects the how/what IRS sees and will not risk a mismatch of the 1099-B.
Additionally, I did try this, and the calc does not seem to alter result.
After decades of loyal use, losing faith in TT...
Would appreciate an update from TT if/when update to the software might appear, etc.
I'm not sure what is different. I'm in TT Premier, and this is what I see. Where does yours differ?

Did all the basics: log in/log out; change browser; clear cache; delete entry; key manually; delete and pull direct..
No Third screen.
So that we can clarify this. Can you take a screen shot of what you get for a third screen.

I can't resolve this issue without getting to see the file. We have a method for viewing the file, but all of your personal data will be suppressed. I will not be me viewing the file it will be a team that focuses on situations like yours.
