Confusing situation for military dependent spouse

Ok, dependent spouse under MSRRA is legal resident of SC. We are currently stationed in CA. They will be starting a remote job working for a company based in FL. We are trying to figure out how to handle the withholding status. As a resident of SC, they are exempt from CA PIT withholding, but are still required to pay PIT to SC, right? And are also required to pay unemployment and FICA to CA? Can they pay to CA and have it credited to SC? Or is there another way to manage it? We are at a complete loss on how to handle it.

Thanks

If the  FL employer will not withhold for SC then you will need to send in estimated payment to SC yourself.  This has nothing to do with CA.
