We have the College of Illinois (prepaid tuition plan) for our daughter who's enrolled at Iowa State.
In the Spring semester, we requested payment for the respective amount of credit hours she planned on taking.
But shortly after she dropped a class and was reimbursed directly by the university.
She then applied to an online summer course at a community college and used the reimbursed funds to pay for her class.
-I would expect that she should still receive a 1098-T from the community college she signed up for during the summer (even though it was paid with reimbursed funds from the College of Illinois tuition plan) - Correct?
-This way it will not end up becoming income for her - Correct?

That should be the case, but why not contact the school directly and inquire?
Thank you!
We did but maybe because it is summertime they are not responding immediately. But we shall reach out to them again.
