Claiming mother in law on return

My wife and I are filing jointly. My name is listed first on the return. We are adding her mother as a dependent for the 2024 return year. Should her mother be listed as mother or mother in law for dependent purposes? Thank you in advance.

When adding her as a dependent select Another Person and then in the dropdown select Parent.
