Car Lease and business as sole prop

Good morning,

I am W2. My wife started a cleaning business 1.5 years ago. We are leasing a new car mainly for her business.

Since the business is not to old it was easier for me to pass the credit check etc. We do file married taxes.

Can a car lease be only on my name, if she using it for her business (sole prop). ( I though because we fiel married taxes together it should be fine, but I am not sure)

Or does it have to be in her name / our both names?

Please advise. Thank you

The scenario described should not present an issue provided she makes the lease payments but, regardless, she should really have a business account out of which to pay business expenses.
