Fidelity's downloaded 1099-B contains more than 300 line items with tiny fractions of a right associated with the expiration of a small rights offering that I chose not to exercise. These fractions of a right have different dates associated with the underlying purchase of stock with reinvested dividend.
The rights cost me nothing and I received no income, yet TT is requiring me to enter proceeds and costs for each of these line items. This is unnecessary effort and should not be required. I have not yet tested whether ignoring this TT worksheet will prevent me from filing electronically.
Can anyone help me with this issue? Is there a way to globally fill these 300+ worksheets?

yep, one area Turbotax sucks is when you import security transactions.

about how many trades have actual sales proceeds. if few remove the import and enter manually
if many remove the import enter summary totals for each type A, B, C, D, E, F.
from the 1099-B that you will download from the broker and print out just draw lines through those lines with no proceeds or cost. you can omit any pages that show no proceeds/cost
then use form 8453 to submit the 1099-B to the IRS read the instructions carefully.
