First Time Homebuyer Credit Account Look-up   This link will give you all the information you need to make your installment payment with your 2016 tax return.  You only need your SS, DOB, address, and zip code (your last filing address, not the address of the property the credit was taken on) to access the information.

To include your homebuyer installment payment with your 2016 federal tax return,

  • Sign into your TurboTax Online account
  • Choose to Continue your return/Take me to my return
  • Click on Federal Taxes
  • Click on  Deductions & Credits
  • Next, you will see "Check for more tax breaks"  click on that, and then "Skip to all tax breaks".
  • Locate the section titled, "Your Home"   and click to "Show more"
  • Find HomeBuyer Credit Repayment and click on Start to enter your information

Click here to use the IRS lookup tool for information on repaying the credit.
